Giving lei is such a unique expression of affection, and we want to ensure it is as memorable and special as we know it can be. Hawai‘i Lei Stand employees treat each order with the TLC it requires to arrive at its destination in pristine condition. As such, lei are carefully packed with frozen gel packs to keep it fresh during its journey. We offer a variety of shipping speeds, but our recommendation? Fedex Priority Overnight shipping to ensure it remains as fresh as possible.
Graduation - Order Deadline When Shipped To US Mainland (April - June)
During graduation season (April-June) we recommend pre-booking an order well in advance to reserve your lei. During the busy weeks we may reach capacity or be sold out of popular lei varieties, so advanced pre-booking is recommended. Orders are accepted up to 5 months in advance. This applies to orders for local pick up/delivery as well as mainland shipments.
For lei orders that require shipping to the US Mainland, we will happily accommodate last minute orders if supply and shipping capacity is still available. To ensure your lei is shipped on time please order 4-7 days in advance.
General - Order Deadline When Shipped To US Mainland
For lei orders that require shipping to the US Mainland, to ensure your lei is shipped on time, please place orders at least 3-5 days in advance. Lei may not always be readily available, so this will ensure that your items can be handmade and shipped to its destination on time. Shipping can take up to 2 days, depending on the arrival location.
Recommended Arrival Date: 2 Day In Advance
We recommend scheduling your lei to arrive 2 days before you plan to use it. In the event that there are any unexpected shipping delays, you will have an extra day to receive the lei. Shipping carrier delivery time windows to the US Mainland are 8:00am-12:00pm (Priority) & 8:00am-8:00pm (2-Day) and can arrive at the end of the day.

Lei Shipping Options & Speeds
FedEx Two-day Lei Shipping
Customers who utilize FedEx two-day shipping must submit their order at least 3 days prior to the requested arrival date.
Please keep in mind that because FedEx is closed on Sundays. Lei shipped via FedEx 2-Day is only available to arrive on Wed, Thurs & Fri.
FedEx Priority Overnight Lei Shipping
Customers who utilize FedEx priority overnight shipping must submit their order at least 3 day prior to the requested date for delivery by noon the day of.
Please keep in mind that because FedEx is closed on Sundays. Lei shipped via FedEx Priority cannot arrive on Sunday, & Tuesday (Mid-West & East Coast).
FedEx Priority Saturday Lei Shipping
Customers who utilize FedEx Saturday shipping must submit their order at least 3 day prior to the requested date for delivery on Saturday. There is an additional $15 FedEx fee.
FedEx Observed Holidays
NOTE: FedEx observes Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. There is limited service on the days before and after these holidays.
Keep This In Mind
Check and double check the delivery date you select, as well as the recipient’s address.
The earlier you place your order the better. This will give us time to ensure the lei you requested is in stock or that it can be made.
If a lei is unavailable, we will contact you with substitution options.
Incorrect Address & Address Change Fee
If your order is in transit to the wrong address there is a $25 bad address or change fee to redirect the shipment. However once your order has shipped we cannot guarantee that the change will take place, depending on the stage of the shipment. Please double check the delivery address prior to ordering.
A Special Note To California Residents
The California state Department of Agriculture routinely performs random agricultural inspections on packages from Hawai‘i to search for bugs and pests that have been affecting California’s crops. As such, inspections can sometimes delay the delivery of packages by up to 1 day. Inspections can sometimes be completed after a deadline for a shipping courier to leave their facility.
To ensure packages arrive on time, delivery arrival dates should be requested at least 1-2 days prior to when lei are needed.
