Official Rules: Hawaii Lei Stand $1,000 Graduation Lei Giveaway

Official Rules

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. OPEN ONLY TO LEGAL RESIDENTS OF THE 50 UNITED STATES AND THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA WHO ARE 18 OR OLDER (OR THE AGE OF MAJORITY IN THEIR STATE, IF HIGHER). VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

1. Sponsor

The Hawaii Lei Stand $1,000 Graduation Lei Giveaway (the "Giveaway") is sponsored by Hawaii Lei Stand LLC, 1293 S Beretania St, Honolulu, HI 96814 ("Sponsor," "we," "us"). Questions: aloha@hawaiileistand.com.

2. Who can enter

The Giveaway is open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia. Entrants must be 18 or older when they enter, or the age of majority in their state if higher (19 in Alabama and Nebraska, 21 in Mississippi). Residents of U.S. territories and other countries are not eligible.

Employees of Sponsor, Hawaii Floral and Confectionery Group, Beretania Florist, Hawaii Confectionery, and Sponsor's marketing and advertising agencies are not eligible. Neither are their immediate family members (spouse, parents, children, siblings) or people living in their household.

3. Entry period

The Giveaway starts at 12:00:01 a.m. Hawaii-Aleutian Standard Time (HST) on October 1, 2026 and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. HST on March 31, 2027 (the "Entry Period"). Sponsor's computer clock is the official timekeeper.

4. How to enter

During the Entry Period, visit hawaiileistand.com/pages/hawaii-lei-stand-1-000-graduation-lei-giveaway and complete the entry form.

  • Required: your first and last name, email address and phone number.
  • Optional: school name and graduating class year. Leaving these blank does not affect your eligibility or your chances of winning.

You must agree to these Official Rules and the Privacy Notice to submit.

5. Entry limits

  • Limit one entry per person per day (days run midnight to midnight HST). You may come back each day to enter again. More entries increase your chances of winning.
  • Each entry must use the same name, email address and phone number. Entries made with multiple or fake email addresses, scripts, bots or any other method meant to get around these limits are void.
  • Incomplete, illegible, late or misdirected entries are void. Sponsor is not responsible for entries lost because of technical problems.

6. Grand Prize

One (1) winner will receive a $1,000 Hawaii Lei Stand gift card. Approximate retail value: $1,000.

  • The gift card may be used for graduation lei and other products at Hawaii Lei Stand, in store at 1293 S Beretania St, Honolulu, and online at hawaiileistand.com. Online orders are limited to the areas Sponsor ships or delivers to. The card may be used toward shipping and delivery charges.
  • The gift card cannot be redeemed for cash, transferred, sold or exchanged. A lost or stolen card will not be replaced.
  • No substitution is allowed, except that Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the gift card becomes unavailable.
  • This is a promotional gift card issued at no cost. It expires on the date stated on the card or in its delivery email. Sponsor sets that date based on the graduation date the winner provides: at least [30] days after the card is issued, and no later than [LATEST DATE, e.g. June 30, 2027]. Any balance left after the expiration date is forfeited.
  • The winner is responsible for any taxes on the prize. Because the prize is worth less than $2,000, Sponsor does not expect to issue an IRS Form 1099.

7. Odds

The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received during the Entry Period.

8. Winner selection

On or about April [DAY], 2027, Sponsor or its agent will select one entry at random from all eligible entries received. Sponsor's decisions are final on all matters related to the Giveaway.

9. Winner notification

Sponsor will notify the potential winner in April 2027 by email and by phone. Emails will be sent through Sponsor's email marketing provider.

The potential winner must reply within [5] days. Where allowed by law, the winner may be asked to sign a declaration of eligibility and release within [7] days of notification. If the potential winner cannot be reached, does not respond in time, is not eligible, or does not comply with these Official Rules, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner selected at random from the remaining eligible entries.

Important: Giveaway updates and the winner announcement are sent by email. If you unsubscribe from Sponsor's marketing emails, you will stop receiving Giveaway updates and reminders, and this may limit our ability to reach you with the winner announcement. To avoid missing a message, add aloha@hawaiileistand.com to your contacts.

10. Publicity

Except where prohibited, Sponsor may announce the winner's first name, last initial and state on its website, social media and email, without further payment.

11. General conditions

Sponsor may disqualify anyone who tampers with the entry process, gives false information, or violates these Official Rules.

If the Giveaway cannot run as planned because of fraud, technical failure, a virus, or any other cause beyond Sponsor's control, Sponsor may cancel, change or suspend it. If the Giveaway is canceled, Sponsor may award the prize by random drawing from eligible entries received before the cancellation.

Sponsor is not responsible for incorrect or inaccurate entry information, technical or network failures, or entries not received.

12. Release and limitation of liability

By entering, you agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor, its affiliates, and their agencies, employees and agents from any claims, losses or damages arising from your participation in the Giveaway or the acceptance or use of the prize. This does not limit any liability that cannot be limited by law.

13. Social media platforms

This Giveaway is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Instagram, Facebook, Meta, Google or any other platform where it is advertised. You release those platforms from any liability connected with the Giveaway.

14. Governing law

These Official Rules are governed by the laws of the State of Hawaii. Any dispute will be resolved individually, without a class action, in the state or federal courts located in Honolulu, Hawaii.

15. Privacy

Information collected in the Giveaway is used as described in the Privacy Notice below.

16. Winner's name

To get the winner's first name, last initial and state, email aloha@hawaiileistand.com with the subject "Graduation Lei Giveaway Winner" after the drawing and before June 30, 2027.

Graduation Lei Giveaway Privacy Notice

We take your privacy seriously. We collect only what we need to run the Giveaway and market our own products, we do not sell or rent your information, and we share it only with the companies that run our marketing for us. This notice covers information collected through the Giveaway by Hawaii Lei Stand LLC, 1293 S Beretania St, Honolulu, HI 96814 ("we," "us").

What we collect

  • Required: your first and last name, email address and phone number.
  • Optional: school name and graduating class year.
  • Automatically: when you visit our website, our site and advertising tools (such as cookies and pixels) may record your device, browser, pages viewed and how you arrived. This helps us measure our ads.

How we use it

  • To run the Giveaway: record entries, enforce entry limits, verify eligibility, select and notify the winner, and deliver the prize.
  • To send you marketing emails. By entering, you agree to receive emails from Hawaii Lei Stand, including Giveaway updates and marketing messages leading up to the drawing. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email. Unsubscribing may limit our ability to send you Giveaway updates and the winner announcement.
  • To send text messages, only if you checked the separate SMS box. Reply STOP to any text to opt out.
  • To plan graduation-season products and offers, using the optional school and class year information.
  • To show you our ads on social media and search, and to measure how well those ads work.

Who we share it with

Your information stays within our business and the companies that run our marketing channels for us. These include, but are not limited to:

  • Our online store platform (Shopify) and the form app that collects Giveaway entries (Hulk Form Builder)
  • Our email and text marketing software (Klaviyo) and our email marketing agency
  • Our advertising agencies and the social media and search advertising platforms we use (such as Meta and Google). We may share your email address or phone number in a scrambled (hashed) form so those platforms can show you our ads and measure results.

These companies may use the information only to provide services to us. We may also disclose information if required by law, or to a successor if our business is sold or reorganized. We do not sell, rent or trade your information to anyone else.

Your choices and rights

We offer these choices to every entrant, whatever state you live in:

  • Unsubscribe from email: use the link at the bottom of any email.
  • Stop texts: reply STOP.
  • Opt out of targeted ads: email aloha@hawaiileistand.com with the subject "Ad opt-out," and we will stop sharing your information with advertising platforms.
  • See, correct or delete your information: email aloha@hawaiileistand.com or write to 1293 S Beretania St, Honolulu, HI 96814. We will respond within [30] days and ask our service providers to delete it too.

If you ask us to delete your information before the drawing, your entries will be withdrawn. We may keep a limited record of your request, and any information the law requires us to keep.

Age requirement

You must be 18 or older (or the age of majority in your state) to enter. This Giveaway is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

How long we keep it

We keep Giveaway entry records until [12] months after the drawing, and winner records as long as the law requires. We keep your marketing contact information until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.

How we protect it

We use reasonable safeguards to protect Giveaway information. Only staff and service providers who need it to run the Giveaway or our marketing can access it.

Use this wording on the entry form. Label the two optional fields "School name (optional)" and "Graduating class year (optional)." The first checkbox is required. The SMS checkbox must stay optional and unchecked.

Text me Giveaway updates and graduation lei offers at the number above. Consent is not required to enter or to buy. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for help.
