Tropical flowers are a whole vibe. There's just something about them that'll wrap you up in warmth. Maybe it's the climates they hail from or their bolder hues, but we are here for it.
The best part? They ship well and, given the right TLC, can sometimes last longer than you might expect.
What flowers do you ship?
The most common flower you'll find in our bouquets are anthuriums. Sometimes heart-shaped and other times resembling a tulip, we get these buds from the Big Island. Depending on the time of year, colors can range from chocolate and lavender, to two-toned beauties that combine red and green, white and pink, and other eye-catching shades.
Along with anthuriums, other common tropical buds we incorporate include ginger, tropic fleur, orchids and foliage.
What do I do once I receive a tropical flower bouquet?
The best thing you can do for your flowers is to unpack them as soon as possible. Remember: They've traveled quite the distance. Snip the ends at a 45-degree angle and then pop them into a vase with the flower food that's included.
And that's it. Easy, right?
When is it appropriate to gift tropical flowers?
Like all flowers, tropical bouquets are no exception — they can add just the right touch to any occasion. Birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, you name it. The great thing about all flowers is that you don't need a reason to share some. They'll brighten anyone's day.
